Tierschutz auf La Gomera, der zweitkleinsten
der Kanarischen Inseln, ist nicht einfach. Dennoch haben wir es zu
unserer Aufgabe gemacht, den frei lebenden Tieren zu helfen. Ein Teil der
Aufgabe ist es, wenn immer möglich, Kastrationsaktionen durchzuführen.
Das geschieht in Zusammenarbeit mit den örtlichen Tierärzten. Darüber
hinaus beraten und helfen wir der Bevölkerung in Punkten des Tierschutzes.
Wir helfen auch bei der Vermittlung von Tieren die in Not sind, zum Teil
auf La Gomera und zum Teil durch Ausfliegen nach Deutschland.
Darüber hinaus unterstützen wir den örtlichen Tierschutzverein Pro Animal
Gomera (PAG).

Animal protection on La Gomera, the second
smallest Canary Island, is not easy. Nevertheless, we have
committed ourselves to assist the free living animals on the Island.
A part of our work will include, whenever possible, Trap, Neuter and
Return (TNR) Actions in cooperation with the local Veterinarian.
Further, we will assist in advising and helping the local population
in proper animal protection. We will also help in the adoption
of animals in need, partly on La Gomera and partly by transporting the
animals to Germany. Above and beyond that we support the local
animal protection association, Pro Animal Gomera (PAG).

El objetivo de nuestra asociación es ayudar a
los animales en la isla de la Gomera. Parte de nuestra ayuda es, por
ejemplo, esterilizar gatos silvestres. También cooperamos con la
asociación "Pro Animal Gomera (PAG)".
