The Original Story... A few days ago (15 January), I was informed by Dominique that an injured female cat (Russian Blue mix) had been found and picked up.  The cat (Cindy) was brought to the Vet. And here are the results of that visit… 1.         The little one is between eight and nine months old ( No guaranty as our Pedro (Vet.) is often wrong). 2.         The FeLv / FIV test is negative. 3.         The X-Ray showed a broken left rear Femur (upper leg) The little one was operated on in a clinic on Tenerifa and was sterilized at the same time.  I will most likely bring her back to Germany with me on the third of February.  That the cat could be somewhat disabled, we are looking for a place where she can stay indoors.

Die Originalgeschichte...   Vor wenigen Tagen (15. Januar) wurde ich von Dominique informiert, dass eine weibliche Katze (Russisch Blau Mischling) -offensichtlich verletzt- aufgegriffen wurde. Die Katze Cindy war gestern beim Tierarzt und hier ist das Ergebnis...   1.    Die Kleine ist ca. 8 bis 9 Monat alt   2.    Der Leukose/FIV-Test ist negativ.   3.    Die Röntgenaufnahme zeigt einen Bruch des Femur (Oberschenkel hinten)   Die kleine ist auf Tenerife in einer Klinik operiert und bei der Gelegenheit auch kastriert worden.  Möglicherweise bringe ich sie am 3. Februar mit nach Deutschland.     Da die Katze etwas behindert sein wird, suchen wir für sie einen Platz in reiner Wohnungshaltung.

From the New Owner...   Good evening....   Today I would like to send you the long awaited pictures of Cindy.   She has been living with me since February and is an angel.   Her handicap is barely noticeable, just when the weather changes, but we humans know that too, and she has maintained her sweet silverness.  One can barely resist when one of her pupils slide away and she gives you that look :-)  My Vet says that everything is OK and that it is caused by her accident.   When she is not sleeping, which she loves to do, she plays and runs all around the apartment without any worries:-)   When she is really bored then she likes to renovate my wall paper, or maybe she just doesn't like the color? :-), but we are working on that.  That has improved.   Otherwise, she is always where I am and she shows me her love every day.  When we go to bed, I receive a thorough cat wash (:-) and she always needs body contact.   When I get home from work, she tells me all that she did.  Sometimes, I think she is scolding me for being away so long:-)   Dear greetings,   G.S.

Von der neuen Besitzerin...   Guten Abend....   heut möchte ich Ihnen endlich die langersehnten Bilder von Cindy schicken.   Sie lebt jetzt seit Februar bei mir und ist ein Engel.   Ihre Behinderung ist kaum noch zu bemerken, nur bei Wetterwechsel, aber das kennen wir Menschen ja auch, und sie hat ihren süßen Silberblick behalten. Die eine Pupille rutscht immer weg, diesem Blick kann man nicht widerstehen :-) Meine Tierärztin sagt dass alles ist  in bester Ordnung. Es ist wahrscheinlich vom Unfall her. Wenn sie nicht grad schläft und das macht sie gern :-) spielt , tobt und rennt sie durch die ganze Wohnung, ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste :-) Wenn sie mal viel langeweile hat, dann renoviert sie auch gern mal oder gefällt ihr die Farbe meiner Tapete nicht (?) :-) aber wir arbeiten noch dran. es hat sich sehr gegeben.   Ansonsten ist sie immer da, wo ich bin und ihre liebe zeigt sie mir jeden Tag aufs neue. Wenn wir ins Bett gehen, werde ich auch immer einer ordentlichen Katzenwäsche unterzogen :-) und sie braucht immer Körperkontakt. Wenn ich von der Arbeit komme, dann erzählt sie mir erst mal was sie so gemacht hat. Manchmal hab ich das Gefühl, sie meckert mich aus, weil ich solange wag war:-) Liebe Grüße   G.S.
