Happy End - 2009...Funny (Holly)

The Original Story...   This little, mixed Bardino, lady was born, along with her siblings, on the sixth of June.  Her story sounds somewhat like an adventure.  An animal friendly lady took in a female dog and after just a short while the dog produced a litter of 11 puppies.  Six of these were male and five were female.  As could be expected, all six boys were adopted out almost immediately and have new homes on La Gomera.  One female has also been adopted and will remain on the Island in very good hands.  The other three (Brisa, Cartu, Holly) would also like a new home and is absolutely ready to take over your heart.   (Brisa, Cartu, Holly) is a typical puppy, curious, loveable and playful.   She is presently being cared for in a foster home here in Germany. She has been microchipped, and possesses an EU pass.

Die Originalgeschichte...   Diese kleine Bardinodame wurde am 6. Juni geboren. Ihre Geschichte hört sich ein wenig abenteuerlich an. Eine Tierfreundin nahm eine Hündin auf und nach kurzer Zeit gebar die Hündin 11! Welpen. Sechs Jungs und fünf Mädchen. Die sechs Jungs haben alle ein neues Zuhause auf La Gomera gefunden, von den Mädchen bleibt nur eins auf der Insel und ist in sehr verantwortungsvolle Hände gekommen. Auch für die anderen drei (…) suchen wir in Deutschland ein neues Zuhause.   Die kleine ist ein typisches Hundekind, neugierig und verspielt   Sie ist inzwischen in Deutschland auf einer Pflegestelle. Sie hat einen Mikrochip, den neuen blauen EU-Paß.

From the New Owner...   Hello Mrs. Schmidt,   I haven't been in the internet for quite awhile that is why I am reporting in now.   Funny is doing very well.  She is now 50 cm tall and weighs 15 kg.  She is still very playful, but much more quiet than she was in the beginning.  Besides that she has become an absolute late sleeper.  When i want to wake her up at 06:00 hours to walk before I have to go to work, I have to first shake her somewhat.  On the week ends i have to wake her at around 09:00 or 10:00 to go for her walk.  Otherwise, she would continue to sleep.   She is top fit and can't get enough of running and playing.  Funny is very intelligent and only running to get her tired is not enough.  I bought an intelligent game for her where she has to use her head to play.  She loves it and she is really good.  The little one is still very pretty.  She gets along with very well with other dogs and plays with them in the fields.   At the moment I have no pictures of her on this laptop, but I will take some soon and send them.   Many greetings,   Katharina W.

Von der neuen Besitzerin...   Hallo Frau Schmidt,   war in letzter Zeit nicht mehr oft im Internet und melde mich deshalb erst jetzt.   Funny geht es sehr gut. Sie ist jetzt 50 cm groß und 15 kg schwer. Sie ist immer noch sehr verspielt aber schon viel ruhiger als am anfang. Außerdem ist sie zum absoluten Langschläfer geworden, wenn ich sie morgens um 6 Uhr wecken will zum laufen weil ich arbeiten gehen muss, muss ich sie erst mal rütteln und schütteln. Am Wochenende muss ich sie dann auch um 9-10 uhr aufwecken zum laufen sonst würde sie weiter schlafen.   Sie ist top fit und kann nicht genug haben von laufen und spielen. Funny ist sehr intelligent und nur laufen und sich dadurch auspowern reicht ihr nicht. Ich habe ihr intelligenz Spielzeug gekauft und spiel mit ihr Spiele bei denen sie ihren Kopf anstrengen muss, dass macht ihr wirklich richtig Spaß und sie ist auch richtig gut. Die kleine ist immernoch wunder hüpsch. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sich sich super gut und tobt mit ihnen über die Felder.   Bilder habe ich momentan nicht auf dem Laptop, aber ich werde sie demnächst drauf machen und kann sie Ihnen dann schicken.   Viele Grüße   Katharina W.
