The Original Story...   Hi!  My name is Hugo.  I am a five year old male (Cairn Terrier Mix) and for most of my life have lived on the roof of our house.  I have been mostly alone and somehow forgotten?  I am not a very big fellow as one can see in the picture where I am next to a bag of dog food.    The "owner" claims to have no time for me so I have barely seen streets or gardens and have developed no social contacts.  Unfortunately, that means that I am not "house trained", but that problem is being worked on now.  Around new people, I am a bit shy and nervous, but once I get to know someone, I become very playful and loving and I love company.   We really think that Hugo deserves to get out into the world and discover that there is a lot of fun and a pleasant life away from those four walls.  He has not yet been in contact with cats or small children, so for the moment, we do not know how he would react.    As stated above, Hugo needs a new home where he will be loved and treated as a member of a family.  On his arrival here in Germany he will have undergone a thorough medical exam, been given the appropriate immunizations, been de-fleaed and de-wormed, been Micro-chipped, and he will posses an EU-House Pet Pass.

Die Originalgeschichte...   Hi, mein Name ist Hugo. Ich bin ein 5 Jahre alter Mischling (Cairns Terrier) und habe die meiste Zeit meines Lebens auf dem Dach unseres Hauses gelebt. Ich war meistens allein und irgendwie vergessen. Ich bin nicht groß, wie man gut auf den Fotos erkennen kann, da sitze ich neben einem Sack Hundefutter.   Mein Herrchen sagt, er hat keine Zeit für mich und so habe ich kaum eine Straße oder einen Garten gesehen und habe auch keine sozialen Kontakte knüpfen können. Das bedeutet leider auch, dass ich nicht stubenrein bin, aber ich übe mich darin. Gegenüber neuen Leuten bin ich etwas zurückhaltend und nervös, aber das legt sich, sobald ich die Leute kenne und dann fange ich auch an zu spielen und bin empfänglich für Streicheleinheiten.   Wir sind der Meinung, dass es Hugo verdient, die Welt zu entdecken und festzustellen, dass es da viel Spaß gibt, weg von den vier Wänden. Er hatte bisher noch keinen Kontakt zu Katzen oder kleinen Kindern und im Moment können wir  nicht sagen, wie er darauf reagieren wird.   Wie bereits gesagt, Hugo sucht ein neues Zuhause, wo geliebt und wie ein Familienmitglied behandelt wird. Bei seiner Einreise in Deutschland ist er vom Tierarzt untersucht und für gesund befunden sein, hat die notwendigen Impfungen, ist entwurmt und entfloht, hat einen Mikrochip und den neuen EU-Heimtierausweis.
