The Original Story...Mini

Mandy (female) and her siblings, were rescued by tourists in an area of Valle Gran Rey called Los Granados.  The tourists had observed local residents chasing the mother cat away leaving the kittens (born around the 23rd of February) to fend for themselves.  The tourists took the kittens and reported the matter to the animal protection association, Pro Animal Gomera (PAG) and the kittens were placed into foster care on the Island.

Since there is still no animal shelter on the Island, the chances of finding a good home on La Gomera for any of these young animals are not good.  Therefore, they were medically checked out and prepared for their trip to Germany.  They arrived at their new foster home, here in Germany, on the 6th of May and are waiting to take over your heart.

The Original Story...Coco (Peque)

Peque was found sick and crying in the city of San Sebastian by one of Pro Animal Gomera’s helpers.  When she was found she was about six weeks old.  She was found in an area where the children thought it fun to use the kittens as soccer balls.

Peque was subsequently placed in foster care on the Island so that she could somewhat recover from her ordeal with the children.  At first, everything seemed normal with her , but then traces of blood appeared in her urine.  A diagnosis by the vet indicated that one of her kidneys had been damaged (possibly by being kicked).

She has since been treated and seems to have recovered nicely.  She is now between 12 and 14 weeks old, healthy and a normal, active young lady.

Peque is now in Germany (arrived 6 May) and waiting to take over your heart.

Mai in ihrer Pflegestelle eingetroffen.

From the New Owner...

Hello Mrs. Jungbluth,

The photos are coming this week :-)

The two are totally happy in their new home.  They show it through their love of cuddling and their racing throughout the entire house.  Coco, who cuddles the least is now coming more and more.  She is a little, wild devil, such that we have had to ban the cats from our bed room:-)

Instead, they have their own guest room with bed where they sleep and cuddle together.

Other than cat colds, which are being treated, the two are are top fit and leep us in good spirits.

As soon as I have some time in the evening this week, I'll send you some Happy End pictures.  The battery charger cable has finally been found:-)

So, much luck in in further adoptions.  You have made us very happy with the two sweet little ones.

Till later,

Melanie M.

Von der neuen Besitzerin...

Hallo Frau Jungbluth,

Melanie M.
