               Happy End - 2009...Pünktchen             

The Original Story... When Pünktchen was found, he was very, very sick.  The “Cat Cold” had progressed to his eyes and it was not known how bad the damage was.  It was later determined that both eyes were affected.  He is blind.   When one watches him play, it is hard to understand that he cannot see.  Pünktchen is like any other normal cat.  He plays with the other kittens, is also just as curious and has no difficulty finding his food and water or the cat toilet.  We have had some experience with blind cats before and have always noted their good nature and loveable character’s   Pünktchen is presently here in Germany and receiving very good medical care.  We hope to know soon if he is completely blind or if he will have some use of one of his eyes.  In either case we would be inclined to adopt him to a person or family who would keep him strictly in the house.   Before coming to Germany, Pünktchen was tested negative for FIV and Felv.  He was also de-fleaed and de-wormed, was micro-chipped and received the EU Pet Passport.   This just might be the one for you?

Die Originalgeschichte...   Als Pünktchen gefunden wurde, war er sehr, sehr krank. Der Schnupfen war in die Augen gezogen und zunächst wussten wir nicht, wie schlimm der Schaden war.  Es stellte sich später heraus, dass beide Augen betroffen waren. Er ist blind.   Wenn man das Pünktchen beim Spielen beobachtet, dann glaubt man nicht, dass er nichts sehen kann. Er tobt wie ein sehendes Lätzchen, spielt, ist neugierig und findet das Futtern wie auch das Katzenklo. Er ist nicht die erste blinde Katze, die wir betreuen und wir wissen, dass diese Katzen sehr liebe Tiere sind. Auch das Pünktchen schmust sehr, sehr gern.   Bevor er die Reise nach Deutschland antreten konnte, wurde er getestet und er war negativ. Er hat einen Mikrochip und den EU-Heimtierausweis.   Pünktchen befindet sich zurzeit noch in ärztlicher Behandlung (Entfernen der Augäpfel). Sobald diese Behandlung endgültig abgeschlossen ist, kann er in ein neues Zuhause umziehen. Natürlich sollte er, aufgrund der Blindheit eine reine Hauskatze sein.   Dieser kleine Mann ist ein lebenslustiges und lebensfrohes Kätzchen und ich hoffe, erobert Ihr Herz.........    Wen kann dieser kleine Mann glücklich machen?

Pünktchen in ihr neue Zuhause / her new home

 

From the New Owner...   Meow Tanja,   Its me, Pünktchen!  Now I know how a computer works! They don’t have digits for blind people on the keyboard, but I get along, like I do with other things too. I smelled and marked each key.  Well, my new mommy does wonder why it smells so funny…….   I have settled in very well here.  I did not have to hide one day.  I am only afraid of this noise making machine (vacuum cleaner).  In the morning I am the first to arrive at the alarm clock, no one has a chance to be faster……hihi.   Ok, let me tell you about what is happening:   I drive the “old socks” here, Nessie and Butzi, up the wall, I can tell-ha!  Every day, I make their legs longer than they already are.  I attack “Butzl” from behind, bite him tenderly on the neck and let him drag me a little through the apartment… “Nessie” is different.  She seems to think she is something better, even a “lady”.   Pah!  It is to laugh!!   She looks at me from the side, and from time to time I scratch along her side and before she realises it I lay down on HER sleeping place, well, you should see her face. Ho-ho-ho!  From time to time she swats at me, but I swat back. She hisses at me and I…(I am not stupid. I am the baby here) whine loud and sit down on my small behind.  What can I say, they all feel sorry for me…quite simple!   Mmmmmhh, everything is all nice and soft here.  In the mornings it is always the same.  We have coffee in bed, then we have our petting time and I can purr like three big owls from the forest.  I learned that from Puss-Puss, mmmmhhh!  I purr so loud that Jasmin wakes up and asks who is snoring so loud…..   I would, naturally, be very happy if you would come and visit us in this cosy cat home.  Nessie and Butzl are a little shy at first, but that is only camouflage, let me tell you!!   Hope to see you soon and greetings to Dalphy.  It’s a shame that she cannot be with us.  Did she find a new home in the meantime??   Byyyyyeeeee!  Meeeeeoooowwwww!

Von der neuen Besitzerin...   Miau Tanja,   ich bin es, Pünktchen, endlich weiß ich wie der PC funktioniert! Die haben ja keine Blindenschrift auf der Tastatur, aber ich finde mich auch so zurecht wie bei allen anderen Sachen auch!! Ich habe jeden einzelnen Buchstaben erschnuppert und markiert, meine neuen Mamis wundern sich natürlich warum die neue Tastatur so komisch riecht :-)   Ich habe mich prima eingelebt, ich musste mich noch keinen Tag verstecken, nur vor der großen Krachmaschine (Staubsauger) fürchte ich mich. Morgens bin ich immer der erste der am Wecker ist, wenn dieser klingelt, da hat niemand eine Chance schneller zu sein hihihi.   Also, Lagebeschreibung:   Die "alten Socken" hier , die Nessie und "der Butzl", misch ich ordentlich auf, das kann ich Euch sagen - ha!   Denen mach ich jeden Tag noch mehr Beine als sie eh schon haben =))   Auf den Butzl werf ich  mich am liebsten von hinten drauf, verbeiß mich sanft in seinem Nackenfell & lass mich dann ein wenig durch die Wohnung schleifen... !   Die Nessie ist da ganz anders, sie denkt wohl sie sei "was besseres", eine "Dame" eben - pah, dass ich nicht lache!!  Die guckt mich immer so schräg von der Seite an, ab & zu "streif ich sie wie zufällig", und bevor sie es überhaupt blickt leg ich mich auf ihr Schlafplätzchen, da glotzt sie vielleicht bleed, ho-ho-hoooo!!!   Dann & wann wischt sie mir eine, ich wisch dann eine zurück, dann faucht sie einmal kräftig und ich -  na, ich bin ja net doof, bin ja das BABY hier - ich fiiiieeeeps dann herzerweichend, kleinlaut, setz mich auf meinen kleinen, süßen Hintern... und SCHON HAB ICH SE ALLE ausgetrickst ... =) ganz einfach, die Sache hier!   Mmmhhh, und wie KUSCHELIG die hier alle sind ... ! Morgens immer dasselbe Ritual: Café wird IMMER im Bett genossen, dann gibt es gaaaanz viele Schmuseeinheiten, ich kann schon schnurren wie drei große Waldohreulen zusammen - das hab ich von dem Puss-Puss gelernt, mmhmmmh! ich schnurre SOOO laut, daß die Jasmin regelmäßig dran aufwacht & denkt: "Jetzt schnarcht die Petra schon wieder so laut!"  =))   Ich würde mich natürlich sehr freuen, wenn Du uns hier in diesem kuscheligen Katzenheim bald mal besuchen kommst, Nessie & Butzl tun zwar etwas scheu am Anfang, aber das is alles nur Tarnung, sag ich Dir ! =)   Auf bald, grüße mir die olle Dalphy, schaaaade daß sie nicht dabei sein kann... hat sie ein Zuhause gefunden ?     Tschüüühüüßß, mmmmmiiiaaauuuuuu-rrrrrrrhhhhhhhh!!!
