Happy End - 2009...Sunny (Merca)

The Original Story...   This is Merca.  She is a tender four month old young lady.  She was found in San Sebastian, very much underweight, with a bite wound and full of lice.  At first, she had a great fear of the dog already present at the Foster Home, but quieted down when she found that nothing bad was going to happen.     She is a real family dog.  That means that she is loving, loveable and has no problems with cats  She could also be a good dog for a single person. Merca is still very shy, but very, very loveable and quiet.  She does well on the leash and likes to ride in a car.  She is not yet completely house trained, but that won’t last long.   She is immunized, de-loused, de-wormed, de-fleaed and has been Microchipped.

Die Originalgeschichte...   Das ist Merca. Sie wurde stark untergewichtig,  im zarten Alter von 4 Monaten, völlig zerlaust und mit Bisswunden in San Sebastian gefunden. Sie hatte zunächst große Angst vor dem Hund in der Pflegestelle,   hat sich aber schnell beruhigt als sie rausfand, dass ihr nichts böses geschieht. Sie ist ein richtiger Familienhund, d.h.  sie ist extrem lieb, passt gut zu Kindern oder wäre auch ideal für allein stehende Personen.   Sie ist noch sehr verschüchtert,   aber sehr, sehr liebevoll und ruhig. Sie geht gut an der Leine und fährt gern mit dem Auto.   Sie ist noch nicht ganz stubenrein, aber das kann nicht mehr lang dauern.    Sie ist geimpft,  entlaust, entwurmt und hat auch schon den Mikrochip.

From the Foster Home...   She is now with a Foster Family who has two older dogs and three cats.  She has improved immensely, has gained 500 g and now weighs 4 ½ kg.  She is more social and acts just like a puppy should.  She gets along well with the other animals and naturally, always tries to steal the cat food (which is normal).   She can be considered a small to medium sized dog when she is full grown.  At her Foster Home they have renamed her “Sunny”.  She doesn’t like being left alone.  She whines at first then is quiet and waits.  She is very much afraid that she will be left alone in the world.  She loves to play  with  children,  is  extremely lovable and  loves  to cuddle.   She is a real sunshine.   Dear greetings,   Karin + Yunko

Report von der Pflegestelle...   Hola Ingrid, Also, merca ist bei einer Pflegefamilie, 2 ältere Damen, die selbst 2 Hündinnen (13+2Jahre) und 3 Katzen haben. Sie ist wie ausgewechselt, hat schon 500 g zugenommen und spielt und ist munter, wie halt ein Puppy sein muss. Sie versteht sich gut mit den anderen Tieren, will natürlich das Katzenfutter klauen, normal. Wie sie auf Kaninchen reagiert, weiß ich nicht, habe keins. Sie wiegt jetzt 4,5 kg und ich schätze mal, dass sie so eine Art „Sally“ wird (auf keinen Fall größer, vielleicht nicht ganz so schwer, aber man kann es schlecht schätzen. Die beiden Damen nennen sie übrigens Sunny, sie sind reizend zu ihr und das Tier ist wie ausgewandelt. Sie geht auf das Zeitungspapier, aber pinkelt manchmal auch noch auf den Teppich und sie muss sich noch gewöhnen allein zu bleiben. Sie weint erst ein bisschen, ist dann aber ruhig und wartet. Muss sie halt noch lernen, sie hat halt schiss, das sie wieder allein auf der Welt ist. Liebe Kinder wären genau das richtige für sie. Fängt an zu spielen und dafür sind Kinder doch da, die haben auch genug Ausdauer für Puppys. Sie ist extrem lieb und schmust gerne. Ein richtiger Sonnenschein.   Liebe Grüsse Karin + Yunko
