Happy End - 2009...Tessy

The Original Story...   Around the very first of the year, Tessy, as we call her, showed up at a park in Tecina, near Playa de Santiago.  She looked lost and was looking for company.  She followed a woman and her dog and there was no way that she would leave.  So, the lady took her in.  The woman did ask around about who owned Tessy, but nobody claimed her.   On the 16th of January, the lady called Pro Animal Gomera (PAG) and asked for help.   Tessy is now in a foster home and gets along well with the dog and cats that are there.  She is two or three years old, very quiet, and seems to be house trained.    The one problem that the foster parents have run across with Tessy is that she hasn’t liked anything that has been offered her to eat.  Dry food is clearly not her favourite food!!!

Die Originalgeschichte...   In den ersten Tagen des neuen Jahres wurde Tessy -so nennen wir sie- im Park in Tecina in Playa de Santiago gesehen. Sie sah sehr verloren aus und suchte Begleitung. Sie folgte einer Frau, die mit ihrem Hund spazieren ging und ließ sich nicht abschütteln. Also nahm die Dame Tessy mit nach Hause. Was sollte sie sonst tun?  Natürlich fragte sie im Ort nach, ob jemand diesen Hund kennt, aber keiner kannte sie. Am 16. Januar rief die Dame bei Pro Animal Gomera (PAG) an und bat um Hilfe.   Tessy ist jetzt auf einer Pflegestelle und hat mit dem Hund und den Katzen im Haus keine Probleme. Sie ist zwischen zwei und drei Jahre alt, sehr ruhig und stubenrein.   Ein Problem gibt es allerdings. Tessy mag kein Trockenfutter und hat bis jetzt auch nicht erkennen lassen, welches Futter sie gern mag........ Da wird jetzt verschiedenes ausprobiert.
