Die Originalgeschichte...   Hallo, mein Name ist Laika...   Ich bin ein Jahr alt, wiege 12 kg bei einer Schulterhöhe von 45 cm. Leider hat mein Frauchen nicht damit gerechnet, dass ich zu solch einer Größe heranreife. Vom Wesen her bin ich total ruhig und schmusig. Die Wohnung meines Frauchens reicht leider nicht aus um mir ein dauerhaftes Zuhause zu geben. Darum sitze ich nun hier und warte auf nette Menschen die mir ein endgültiges zu Hause geben.   Gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht bin ich bereits. Klar muss ich noch einiges lernen, aber ich mache es ihnen leicht und schenke viel LIEBE. Versprochen!

The Original Story... Hello, My name is Laika…   I am one year old, weigh about 12 kg and stand 45 cm high at the shoulder.  Unfortunately, my owner had not calculated that I would get so big.  From character, I am a quiet and loving dog.  My owners home is just not big enough for me to stay any long length of time.  Therefore, here I sit waiting for some nice people who will offer me a real home.   I have been micro-chipped, immunized, de-wormed and de-fleaed.  I also possess an EU Pet Passport.  It is clear that I still have a lot to learn, but I'll make it as easy as possible for you and give you lots of LOVE...that's a promise!

Von der neuen Besitzerin...   Hallo Frau Schmidling,   heute möchte ich mich endlich mal bei Ihnen melden, um kurz über die ersten Tage mit Laika zu berichten:   Sie hat sich bisher nur von ihrer besten Seite gezeigt! Wir waren schon zusammen mit anderen Hunden im Schnee unterwegs und sie ist herumgesprungen wie ein Flummi. Wenn ich im Haus irgendetwas zu tun habe, folgt sie mir oder legt sich einfach neben mich. Kennt sie etwas nicht, ist sie zwar aufmerksam, macht aber keinen ängstlichen Eindruck. Sobald ich mal ein paar schöne Fotos habe, maile ich welche rüber.   Sie haben wirklich nicht zuviel versprochen!   Ich wünsche Ihnen für die weiteren Vermittlungen weiterhin ein Händchen für die richtigen Menschen und sende Ihnen viele Grüße aus Erndtebrück -   Wenn Sie mal in der Gegend sind, lade ich Sie und Ihren Mann herzlich auf einen Kaffee ein!   Sabine P.

From the New Owner...   Hello Mrs. Schmidling,   Today, I would finally like to report back to you over the first days with Laika:   So far, she has shown only her best side.  We went walking in the snow with other dogs and she jumped around like a rubber ball.  When I have to do something around the house she follows me or simply lays down nearby.  When she doesn't know something she is very attentive, but doesn't show any fear.  As soon as I have a couple of good pictures, I'll mail them to you.   You really haven't promised too much!   I wish for your continued adoptions to the right people and send you many greetings from Erndtebrück.   I would like to invite you and your husband in for coffee when you are in the area!   Sabine P.
