Happy End - 2010...Lilli

Die Originalgeschichte...   Das ist Lilli. Sie ist eine kastrierte ca. 2 Jahre alte Podenca. Der Besitzer war an der Hündin nicht mehr interessiert (offensichtlich ist sie keine gute Jägerin) und hat sie deshalb einfach nicht mehr gefüttert. Dementsprechend sah sie aus...... Wie wir bereits öfters erwähnt haben, das ist nicht neu.   Sie ist freundlich, dankbar und gemäß dem Podenco-Charakter, sehr treu. Sie versteht sich gut mit anderen Hunden. Sie hat keine Probleme mit Kindern, ist gewöhnt an Trockenfutter und hatte bisher noch keinen Kontakt zu Katzen. Da sie gern läuft, sollte das neue Zuhause einen Garten haben.   Im Moment ist sie auf einer Pflegestelle, aber aufgrund finanzieller Probleme, muss sie bald umziehen. Sie hat keine Chance auf der Insel vermittelt zu werden und daher ist ihre Zukunft im Moment unsicher.

The Original Story... This is Lilli.  She is a castrated, two year old, female Podenco.  She was found starving still alive on her “owners” property.  The owner did not want to feed her because she was not a good hunter.  As we have stated before, this seems to happen often.   She is very friendly, thankful and, as is the Podenco character, very faithful.  She gets along well with other dogs.  She has no problem with children, is used to dry food, but has never had contact (that we know of) with cats.  She will need a garden or, at least, a place to run.   So far, she is in foster care, but because of monetary and room problems, will have to move soon.  She   has no chance of being adopted on the Island and, at the moment, her future is uncertain.
