Happy End - 2010...Lilo

Die Originalgeschichte...   Es waren einmal sechs kleine Hundekinder....Hier ist Lilo! Sie ist ca. 11 Wochen alt und kommt von La Gomera, Spanien. Die Mama ist eine Cocker ähnliche Hündin.   Die Mama und ihre Welpen lebten außerhalb von Playa de Santiago am Strand um die Ecke in der "dritten Höhle von links". Leider kein Witz, sondern Tatsache. Zunächst wollte die junge Frau keinen Welpen abgeben, hat es sich dann überlegt, denn sieben Hunde sind ein paar zu viel. Sie kamen auf eine Pflegestelle von Pro Animal Gomera (PAG).   Inzwischen lebt die junge Frau mit der Hundemama und einem Welpen auch in der Pflegestelle von PAG. Sie ist aus ihrer Höhle ausgezogen und vielleicht gelingt es sogar, sie wieder in die Gesellschaft einzugliedern.   Zunächst und ganz wichtig ist, dass die Hundemama kastriert wird, damit es nicht noch weiteren Nachwuchs gibt. Daran arbeiten wir. (Ein Kastrationstermin ist bereits vereinbart!!! Hurra, es wird klappen.)

The Original Story...   There was once six puppies...This is Lilo!  She is about 11 weeks old and comes from La Gomera, Spain.  The mother looks like a Cocker Spaniel mix.   The mother and her puppies lived on the beach just outside Playa de Santiago just around the corner in the "third cave to the left".  Unfortunately, that was no joke, but fact.  At first, the young lady did not want to give up any puppies, but then she thought about it and decided that seven dogs was a couple too many.  They were brought to one of Pag's foster homes.   In the meantime the young lady, with the mother dog and one puppy, has moved out of their cave and is presently also in a PAG foster home.  Maybe she will rejoin society.   Next, and absolutely important, the mother dog must be spayed so that she will never have to worry about puppies again.  We are working on that.  ( An appointment for the spaying has been agreed upon!!!  Hurrah, it's going to happen.)

Von der neuen Besitzerin...   Hallo Leute,   ich bin die kleine Lilo aus Playa de Santiago, aus der dritten Höhle links.   Ich bin nun schon seit zwei Jahren in Deutschland und wollte mal Hallo sagen.   Schaut mich an, ich bin ein richtiger Zirkuskünstler. Ich stelle mich tot, tanze auf Kommando und schließe auch Türen, wenn ich höflich darum gebeten werden.   Ich bin ein richtiger Sonenschein für meine Leute und die haben es noch keinen Tag bereut, dass sie mich aufgenommen haben.   Danke, dass ich nach Deutschland fleigen konnte und ich melde mich mal wieder.   Eure Lilo

From the New Owner...   Hello people,   I am the little Lilo from the "third cave tothe left" near Playa de Santiago.   I have been in Germany for two years now and want to say hello.  Look at me, I am a real circus performer.  I play dead, dance on command and also close doors when I am asked nicely.   I am a real sunshine for my people and there is no day that they have regretted taking me in.   Thank you, that I could fly to Germany and I will check in again.   Your Lilo
