Happy End - 2010...Noel (Barry)

Die Originalgeschichte...   Hallöchen,   Ich und meine Schwester, Nur, wurden am 24. Dezember 2009 in einer Mülltonne von der Inselhauptstadt in La Gomera entsorgt. Leider gibt es dort noch immer sehr viele Vermehrer die es sicherlich nicht böse meinen, aber einfach nicht besser wissen. Das Resultat sehen sie hier.   Wir sind zwei liebe, verspielte Hundekinder die ausgewachsen ungefähr mittelgroß werden. Unsere Katzenverträglichkeit wird bereits ausgiebig getestet und wir werden Anfang Februar nach Deutschland kommen. Früher geht leider nicht, da wir ja gerade einmal 5 Wochen alt sind.   Bei Erreichen in Deutschland sind wir gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, auf Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet und natürlich ohne Ungeziefer. Sollten Sie einen anderen „Abholort“ wünschen könnten wir noch Frankfurt a. M., Stuttgart, Ulm oder auch Kaiserslautern vorziehen. Ansonsten gehen wir in eine Pflegestelle bei Marburg und freuen uns auf Besuch.

The Original Story... Hello there,   On the 24th of December 2009, I and my sister, Nati, were tossed into a garbage container in the capitol city of la Gomera.  Unfortunately, there are always many people who just don't know any better.  You see the result here.   We are two loveable, playful puppies that, when grown will be of the smaller variety.  Our ability to get along with cats is even now being tested.  We will be coming to Germany towards the beginning of February.  We can't come any sooner, since we are only 5 weeks old.   When we arrive in Germany we will have been micro-chipped and de-wormed.  we will have received those immunizations that are correct for our age and, naturally, we will have been de-fleaed. If you would like a specific pick up airport we can fly them to Frankfurt a. M., Stuttgart, Ulm or also, Kaiserslautern.  Otherwise, we will be going to a foster home near Marburg and would be happy for your visit.

Von der neuen Besitzerin...   Hallo Frau Schmidling, der kleine Barry hat sich schon gut eingelebt und auch die zweite Nacht super durchgeschlafen. Er ist absolut ohne Scheu, nur draußen ist alles zu aufregend. An der Hauptstrasse Lkws und schnelle Autos, bei uns viele Hunde, Pferde und Trecker. Trotzdem klappt das an der Leine laufen schon echt klasse. Das neue Futter mischen wir mit Barrys "alten" Futter und bis jetzt hat er es auch alles sehr gut vertragen. Wenn es Futter gibt wird er zum kleinen Flummi. Alle die Barry schon kennenlernen durften waren gleich hin und weg, er ist aber auch ein süßer Knopf. Vielen Dank noch mal das alles so reibungslos geklappt hat. Wir werden Sie immer auf den Laufenden halten mit schönen Fotos. Danke noch für die ganzen Fotos, wahnsinn wie klein die Beiden mal waren. Jetzt liegt Barry gerade auf meinen Schoß und schläft. Ach ja, Sie wundern sich sicherlich wegen den Namen. Mein Mann fand den Namen Smarty so ganz nett, aber er meinte er will noch mal drüber nachdenken. Einen Tag bevor wir ihn gekriegt haben, meinte er "Das ist er-Barry-! Familienrat hat dann einstimmig entschlossen das er Barry heißen soll. So, wir wünschen Ihnen noch ein schönes Wochenende und das alles gut klappt mit Fritz! Familie V.

From the New Owner...   Hello Mrs. Schmidling,   The little Barry has settled in very well and slept super through the second night. He has absolutely no fear except outside where everything is so exciting.  Trucks and fast cars on the main street.  Also, the many dogs, horses and tractors by us.  Still, he walks with the line really well.    We are mixing the "new" food with Barry's "old" food and he has no problems with that.  When it has to do with food he is a little "Flummi".   Everything that Barry can get to know is soon put away, but he is a sweet button.   Again, many thanks that everything went so well.  We will always keep you up to date with nice pictures.  Thanks also for all the photos.  Crazy how small the two were.   Barry is now laying on my lap and sleeping.   Ah yes, surely you are wondering about the name.  My husband thought that the name "Smarty" was so cute, but he wanted to think it over.  One day before we picked the puppy up, my husband said, "That's him-Barry!"  A family meeting determined that "Noel" would be renamed "Barry".   So, we wish you a fine week end and hope that all goes well with Fritz.   Family V.
